Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced media environment and enjoys working with numbers, systems, and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in QuickBooks Online and a proactive approach to financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general bookkeeping duties including account reconciliation and financial record maintenance.
• Process payments via check and ACH.
• Record journal entries, deposits, and other financial transactions.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online.
• Utilize Concur for expense reporting and Excel for financial tracking and analysis (knowledge of both is a plus).

Additionally, the owner of Compass Media Networks also owns a number of real estate companies that are handled separately. This candidate will also assist the real estate companies in invoices, cutting checks, recording deposits, and other general bookkeeping duties. 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Familiarity with Concur and Excel preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Work Environment:

• Office attire is business casual.
• On-site position in Rye, NY.
